Congratulations to the Cross Country Team for competing in their first big race of the season. The Celts traveled to Irvine on Thursday, September 15 and laced up their shoes for the Woodbridge Invitational. 

Race highlights and medalist were plenty and listed below!

Race Medalists

Isaac Guzman ('23)-PR of 16:35 for a Top 10 Finish

Jacob Gonzales ('23)-PR of 18:12 and placed in the top 50

James Maddox ('23)-PR of 16:40 for an 11th Place Finish

Highlights

*Gabriel Bradford and Michael Boyce both place in the top twenty-five in a massive field of over 350 runners.  Both are new runners. 

*Breaden Weiss ('25), a newcomer to the sport, clocked a 17:45 to place in the top 30 in a field of 225 runners. 

  League competition begins on Tuesday, September 21 at Pierce College. Come out and support your Celt Runners!
